As a CDM Consultant I do not take on the legal duties imposed by the Principal Designer role.

What I also do is to assist you with the preparation of a Client’s brief, and the appointment of competent duty holders.
Then help you with the collation of Pre-Construction Information and highlight the need for any additional required information.
Prior to work commencing on site I would confirm that a suitable Construction Phase Plan and suitable welfare facilities are in place to allow commencement of works on site.
And with my many years of construction experience I can offer you advice and practical solutions to any construction related safety issues that might arise.
